Here is a list of the people that I have mentioned in my story so far. Lemac, Jetta Knight, Fin'rath, Folken Fanel, Chao Crusader, Hex, Welverin. ( I will continue to up date the names as I write my story)
All the free time Falcon has he would spend it around his forge. The last three days he has been having nightmares. His have been of Red Dragons, gypsies that are trying to kill him and his friends and a strange old man by an even stranger looking tower. The strangest part of part of his dreams is that he has made an ally with a male Drow elf and his followers. His nightmares have also been of battles with giants and trolls. With each dream the next one gets worse.
On the fourth day Falcon awoke in a sweat soaked tunic. As he sat up he looked around for any sign of danger, but all he looked at was his bedroom. Knowing there has to be some thing to these dreams, so he decides to go into the fortress and talk to a cleric.
With this in mind he got up made a quick breakfast. As he walked out the door he grabbed his axe and shield not wanting to take any chances. He new he would be safe enough in the Frost Knight Fortress, but with the dreams hes been having he was worried that trouble might find him this day.
This morning the air was much colder then normal. The clear blue skies could be seen as far as the eye could see, and with it a cold breeze blew across the land.
With his axe at his side and his shield strapped on his back Falcon walked in to the fortress with confidence. As he walked through the gate he meet with a couple of his brothers from the Dragon Guard. Being with the Frost Knight Dragon Guard Falcon always wears his dragon guard pendent with pride.
After a brief talk he turned and started off down the already busy Morning Street. As he walked down the street towards the chapel he saw many people he knew, but he continued walking with a smile and a wave here and there. A broad smile came upon his face as he got close to warnies pub. He could smell fresh cooked food and ale coming from the pub. He stopped in front of the pub and looked around for a moment.
Ok, one ale wont hurt. With this said he walked into the pub then looked around for any one he new. With no one in sight he walked to the bar.
Warnie was behind the counter-cleaning mug as Falcon walked up. Just as he pulled up the barstool and sat down Warnie had a mug of ale sitting in front of him.
Good mornin to ya Sir. Warnie. Falcon replied as he picked up his ale. With his mug raised he looks to Warnie. This is to a good day, and with hopes a dreamless night.
You doing ok? Warnie asked as he wiped out another mug.
Ya, just some bad dreams. I be fine, thanks.
Warnie walked towards the opposite end of the bar to help another customer. Falcon downed his ale then placed a coin on the counter. He thought about his dreams, but he still couldnt figure out what the dreams were about. With out even realizing it the coin was gone, but Warnie had placed another full mug of ale in front of him. He sat and couldnt figure out what to do then he realized why he came here to begin with. He was on his way to speak to a cleric about his dreams.
After Falcon downed another ale he waved good by to Warnie. As he got to the door he saw Valkor sitting at a table by herself. He walked over to her table.
Mi Lady is this seat taken. Falcon asked
Valkor started to giggle. Not at all Falcon. Have a seat. As he sat down Valkor ordered herself another wine and a mug of ale for Falcon.
They sat and talked for several hours, and before he knew it it was already late afternoon. Falcon drank eight mugs of ale to every wine Valkor drank. As the time went by many friends sat with Valkor and Falcon for a drink or two then they would move over to another table for drinks.
When the barmaids started lighting candles on the tables and out front Falcon decided it was to late to see a cleric, and he already had too much to drink. The only place he could go now was home. During the talk with Valkor he realized he never mentioned his problem to her. He decided to leave it at that, and just figure this out on his own. He said his good byes to every one then he gave Valkor a hug and a little kiss on the cheek.
As Falcon stepped out side the cold breeze brought a chill to his bones. He pulled his cloak tight about his shoulders then turned and started his walk back home.
With a stagger in his steps he made it home with out getting lost or hurt. He went straight to his room undressed and crawled into bed. As he closed his eyes he wished for a dreamless night.
