"Ouch! Watch it!" yelps Ladybird as a heavy form bounces into her in the dark, knocking her to the ground. But her voice already betrays the relief she feels at finding herself alive and in the company -- she hopes -- of Elbow. Looking back, she sees the rectangle of light coming from the doorway narrow, and before it changes into a thin line and disappears, she also notices something very, very strange. In the last glimpse of the greenhouse she sees two bodies, hers and Elbow's, going limp next to a shelf of seedlings.

But... but we are here, aren't we? she thinks as she feels around in the dark. And where exactly is here anyway? She tries to feel for the door that led them to this place, but her hands only find a rough, cold stone wall.

"Elbow?" she whispers. "Are you here?"

When neither is attended..."
