The group (well, at least the part that's on top of things) scurries out of town in the nick 'o time. The Inquisition Guards are just stepping out into the street. (BTW, that just dropped your Current Totemization Probability Rate, or CTPR, to 0.000005%. Good job!)

At any rate, us adventurers are now left with a surplus of one talking magical lantern.

Dalboz begins to speak, "Hey, that was really great, guys. I don't think I've ever seen a better escape in all my days. That is to say, when I was still human... It's funny how life decides to throw your entire existence into upheaval, grant your archrival supreme executive power, crush the basis of your entire meaning, and - of course - turn you into a lantern; but enough about me, who are you guys? Some sort of adventurers?"

Baneri, of all people, was wholly confused. "Wait, I thought you were the Dungeon Master. What happened?"

"Who said I wasn't still the Dungeon Master?" Dalboz retorted, "...That Grand Inquisitor... gah... HE was the one who sealed me in this lantern, and HE's the one who outlawed magic. I doesn't even exist up here, and only works through scrolls in the GUE. Which reminds me - we should get down there as soon as possible. From the looks of it, you guys still have got way too much to learn about Tristan.

Once we're completely out of the open, then I'll be able to explain more. Now c'mon - let's go to the town of Gnowear; the secret entrance to the Great Underground Empire is there.

Thing is, the place is so secret, even I don't know how to get there."

The old mage rubs his forehead, "Ok - any ideas? We can't go back into town, and there isn't any signs for this "Gnowear" place. I'm stumped."
