Baneri sighs, "If you say so, Tar.."

He raised his palm upwards and quietly mumbled aloud, and soon thereafter a small ball of flame flickered into existence. POOF! The ball snuffed out just as quickly.

The elf shakes his head, "It's not happening. Alright, let's check out Port Foozle, then? Doesn't seem like we've got any other options just yet."

The wizard begins walking down the path for the port town, not waiting for the others to follow him. He figured they could catch up, if they wanted to.

Few short minutes passed, before he was standing at the outskirts of a small village. Buildings standing two stories tall lined the street (yes, one street. Port Foozle's not too big) and again, there is a speaker strapped to a large pole in the ground. However, on this particular one, there was also two buttons: A green one, and a red one. Along the top of the panel read "Frobozz Electric PA System".

The PA System, similarly, also made announcements:
"All those breaking curfew will be totemized."
"Every home is to be fashioned with a Frobozz Loudspeaker. Anyone without one will be totemized"
"The Grand Inquisitor is the boss of you!"
"Any persons found to be casting magic within the confines of the city will be totemized."
"This Gruesday marks the fifteenth anniversary of the Grand Inquisitor's reign"
"Anybody wearing green, which is the Grand Inquisitor's least favorite color, will be totemized."
"Any person refusing totemization will be totemized."
"Those of you thought to be breaking a crime, will be totemized."
"Totemization is unpleasant."

Again, this continued indefinetely.

The mage shrugged, as this was getting to be very annoying. Looking around, he saw to the left the dock, a building to the side of that reading "Foozle Fish Market", to the right of the PA System was a taller building than the rest, adorned with posters reading "Lantern repair" and "honorary Foozle Fireman".

First, he walked down the Dock, looking for any thing that might be of use. Nothing. The only things on the dock were empty wooden boxes, and a strange contraption hanging out over the water labeled "Frobozz Mechanical Fishing Unit". He sighed, "This place only gets weirder and weirder."

He turned the crank on the Mechanical Fishing Unit, and the hook descended into the water. When he cranked it back up, there was an orange fish, sitting on the hook. He had a horn on his head and a beard on his chin. He introduced himself as "Mike". Wait, introduced?

Yep, this fish talked. He promptly berated Baneri as he came up through the water, "Ya REALLY think you could pull one over on me? Get outta here, ya goon." And with that, Mike flopped off the hook and back into the water. Baneri did not want to think about what just happened, for fear of going into shock.

Walking toward the Fish Market, the wizard found an ice bin outside of the store, filled to the brim with green fish. There was, however something that caught the wizard's eye, something that looked like a six pack of beer, complete with plastic rings and all.

"Funny," he thought, "don't these people think that someone would try to steal that?" He shrugged once more, leaving speculation on the backburner for investigation.

He walked past the PA system once more still blaring its messages of torture and unhappiness. The old mage walked towards the Lantern Repair shop. Knocking on the door, he received no answer, for a while, until after a man slid open a peep hole and said, "Hey! What are you tryin' to do? Go away!"

"Great", Hex thought, "a very warm welcome in Foozle, indeed."

He walked through town, knocking on the doors of each house, getting nearly the same response each time. He was even turned back by what seemed to be a holy man. Tough times, eh?

At the end of the street, was a barrel upon which a box of dolls were standing. Leaning forward, Hex picked up a doll and squeezed it. Instantly, the doll's head twisted from left to right and its one arm moved up and down saying "WHO IS THE BOSS OF YOU? I AM THE BOSS OF YOU!" Examining the box more closely, he found it to be marked as "Frobozz Grand Inquisitor Dolls" Baneri put the doll back down and continued to snoop around. "Great, a fence here. Not much else of Foozle, is there?" He turned around, and there stood the rest of the group at the entrance of the town. He quickly informed them of what he's seen so far, and the details of the surroundings.

"So, what should we do?" he asked, not knowing how to proceed.
