Hi Elbo,
Things are going bout as can be expected. On the bad news front, my dads twin died this past May due to kidney failure, dad's health is still not what it should be, but thankfully not worsening.

On the good news...much to tell. Dad is still farming, working, raising his garden at age 82. His diet is extremely limited due to potassium restrictions. Mom's doing well, and finally after a change in medication and being put on CPAP machine at night, my health issues seem to be improving.

My time is still limited but I'm able to go down to the farm every weekend and watch over things. I think I may have told you that our parents gave part of the farm to me and my sisters and my interest has been in expanding the orchards and what we grow. The hot weather has taken their toll on some things but overall, its doing pretty good.

I'm hoping to retire in a few years and when I do, the farm will be there ready for me.

I really do miss this place, some of the good friends I met...I just finished going thru old threads in the IS...names I havent seen in some time and I wish they would come back just to say hi.

How are things going with you? Congrats on your new role here in the fortress, cant think of anyone better to head it up

Take care my friend, hope to be around more often!

BTW...drinks on the house for everyone
